Blessing beyond our comfort zone
We love to talk about some kinds of blessing, but there’s a danger that others make us uncomfortable. For example, we're fine with the idea that salvation is the ultimate blessing, but when we start talking about other kinds of blessings—provision, favor, success—suddenly, the conversation gets tense.
Alyn unpacks this tension and asks the hard questions:
💡 Why are we eager to accept some biblical blessings but hesitant about others?
🤔 Do we redefine “blessing” to match our experience rather than God’s promises?
📖 What did Paul mean when he said, “God, who did not spare His own Son… how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things” (Romans 8:32)?
We also hear an incredible testimony from Marnie, whose story will challenge you to consider whether your theology of blessing is shaped by Scripture—or by preconceptions you didn’t even know you had.
This episode isn’t about chasing lavish lifestyles—it’s about making sure we don’t shrink God’s generosity to fit our comfort zone.
